New features

- eMail shots. Return, Resend, Exchange, return and exchange booking, custom mailshot and late shipping mailshot. You can now create emailshots to be sent out the customer for post-sale functions and custom mailshot.
- Magento inventory cataloge now being retrieved in one batch. Speeds up Magento inventory integration.
- Purchase order - ability to cancel quantity after the delivery
- SubSource field available on the invoice. You can now insert the field exactly which account the sale came from, for Amazon it will be Merchant Name, for Play Trade it will be Merchant Id, for eBay is a sequence number of your integrated account (EBAY0, EBAY1 etc)
- Composites when composite items are create the existing open orders will be changed automatically.
- Sync - error trapping when synchronizing. This should stop the system crashing during the sync process unexpectently if the internet connection is dropped.
- Error/Bug notification - the system can now trap unhandled errors/bugs and allow you to send them to us automatically
- Linnworks Anywhere EC2 - the system can now automatically reconfigure itself to transfer the database to another server one one of the servers becomes too crowded. The system will do this automatically. If you are in US, the server closest to you will be chosen (US-East or US-West). For UK, only European server is available (located in Ireland). Asia and Australia the server in Singapore will automatically be chosen.
- Out-Of-Stock and Awaiting Stock orders. It is now possible to raise a purchase order from Open Order screen for all items which are on order but not sufficient to fulfil the order. (See Settings > Order Book settings > Advanced)
- Pick List improvement. See Settings > Order Book settings > Advanced. You can now select the data fields which will be included in the pick list and their groupping and sorting. It also possible to tell the system not to add an item to the picklist if it already been added to one of the picklists. The system will now keep a record of whether the order has been added to the pick list in the Audit Trail.
- Postage service screen - ability to delete postal services if they are assigned to orders
- CSV file output config - enable no column heading and delimiter configuration and string separator
- eBay Mark as Despatched- switched to be Audit Trail dependant rather than time based function. This will give you better performance and stability.

Bugs Fixed:
- Purchase order, deleting a line produced an error.
- CSV file output config- splitting didn't work for FTP uploads
- sort postage services and packaging groups alphabetically through out the system
- Process order crash when the order already processed
- eBay phone numbers
- Check Low Stock reorder adds minimum level to the purchase order
- Raising the PO from low stock reorder does not add up totals
- eBay downloading item with no item details - need to go and get item details manually from eBay when than happens
- Time hierarchy in sales spread Q3 is out
- Despatch notificiation email produces number in front of the subject if order subject is Order Processed

- output empty columns in the data export, Additional Columns result in Object reference not found data export - outputting "" in the expression result in the empty entry with no comma
- Investigate memory leak on printing invoices - customer reported that when multiple invoices are being printed the system grabs a lot of memory and does not release it after the printing. The memory is not being released by windows GAC component, we have made small change to force the component to be deleted from the memory. The problem could only be replicated on Windows 7 (32bit). 64bit dumps the memory correctly with no problems.
- order invoice large numbers in the evaluation function were resulting in EVAL error.

Also we were hoping for a fix for the thumbnail on invoice not showing?

I will look into this issue, some users reported before that the images not always appear on the invoice. This has probably been caused by our attempt to speed up the invoice generation for those who don't use tumbnail images.

we have the same error with the pick list and also when we sync the items are not all being marked as despatched in ebay today a quarter of them are still showing as to be despatched in ebay, is there something we should have changed it was working before the update

You need to enable the column in the groupping in Order Book settings for the picklist to show the column. Also try to open the picklist in the designer and verify that all used fields on the template are in fact in the enabled in the groupping.

well for 1 i dont use the colum in the pick list and 2 even when i tick it and add it to the pick list i still get the error and 3 ive checked all the colums are ticked that i use execpt qty as it doesnt appear in the list

Hi,

I agree with blackpants the suggested fix does not work.

We have added the field to the pick list report and ticked the column in Order Book config but we still get the error. (After a re-start)

Why is OrderItemNumber a mandatory field on the pick list? We just need a list of item titles and how many we need to pick for the day, simple.

By adding the OrderItemNumber surely it will print a line per item required probably all being Qty 1 not one line per item title Qty 12?

Please advise.

Me too ... have tried adding it, removing it etc! nothing working same error each time.
Also still getting a sync problem on despatch items, did a quick 16 orders and ebay was only advised that 12 were dispatched this causing a nightmare if dealing with a full days orders as having to look at each one to see if it has told ebay it is despatched.
linnworks shows all orders processes, emails sent etc but ebay showing waiting to be sent Anyone else having that problem since update?
