sharpResponse - Documentation - View received emails and Instant Payment Notifications – built-in email client |
|
 |
This article describes the built-in email client, which allows you to access received emails and Instant Payment Notifications. The client is fully functional and allows you to send emails with attachments, view emails in Text or HTML, extract attachments etc.

Description |
|
To access the client click View Received Emails button located in toolbar . The window will display all existing mailboxes and mailboxes that ever existed in the application, as well as current IPN accounts.

Once your subscription is verified, you will see basic account information and the list of all defined IPN services (or we call them accounts in some places, there is really no difference). To set up new account click Create New.
Each mailbox or IPN account entry contains two folders- Received and Responded. Received contains emails or notifications that have been received by the application but none of the packages have been sent in response. Whereas Responded lists all emails or notifications which have been parsed successfully and response package has been sent to the originator of payment or an email.
You can view the email or IPN by selecting the record you want to view from the right hand side list and clicking View Email button. To replay click Reply button and to forward the email click .
You can also save the email in MIME format. This format is recognized by almost all email clients, including Microsoft Outlook and The Bat!
Sending email
Sending email from built-in client is exactly the same as sending email from any other client. There are some restrictions to what you can do. For example, you cannot send blind carbon copy or copy someone else on the email. This is very basic functionality to allow you quick and easy timely response to some emails.

You can attach files to the email in any format. It is worth noting that attaching .exe or any other functional binary files will probably result the email being filtered by SPAM filters and ending up in the Bulk folders.
